“Mon Ireedui” LLC was established on December 31, 2005 with the investment and initiative of 4 people on the basis of “Industrial Complex” or “Glove Shevret” factory established in 1934.

Initially, a processing plant with a capacity of more than 2,000 hides per day was put into operation with about 20 employees. In 2010, 2014, 2017, and 2018, technical and technological renovations were carried out, the expansion of the chemical processing plant, as well as the commissioning of the mechanical processing plant and its further expansion into a factory, created a steady increase in employment. We have completed the processing of hides and skins into finished products and have become a major player in the industry in Mongolia.

Our hard work won the 3rd place in the “Healthy Jobs” competition announced by the University of Health Sciences and the World Health Organization in 2008, and was named the “Best Employer” by the Ulaanbaatar Employers’ Association in 2009 by the Export and Import Department of the State Specialized Inspection Agency. Thanks, in 2010, thanks to the General Taxation Authority of Mongolia, “Leather products 2010 and 2012” exhibitions, “Best decorated organization” award, “Honorary award” of Khan-Uul district Specialized Inspection Department in 2015, Leather wool and cashmere exhibition in 2017, 2018 Awarded as “Best Processing Plant”.

“Mon-Ireedui” LLC doubled its production capacity in 2010, 2014, 2017, and 2018 as a result of the modernization of modern leather deep processing equipment manufactured in China, Korea, and Italy. Currently, the company has the capacity to process 1.2 million small and 300 thousand large animal skins and 54 thousand square meters of leather per year.

The company employs about 80 people, including experienced engineers and technicians who have graduated in the field of leather processing. About 30 percent of them work full-time, and about 70 percent work seasonally from October to April.

The company’s processing plant is located in the Tannery Park at Khan-Uul district and has a total area of 3000 sqm with water, sewage and steam connections. We owe 3 hectares of land with a warehouse that can hold 180,000 small skins and 20,000 cow hides at Emeelt raw-hide market, close to Ulaanbaatar.

From 2005 to 2008, we exported 95 percent of our semi-finished products to China, but now we export most of our products to Italy, Turkey, Japan and Korea, where we also supply crust and finished leather.
